In the southern states is the state of Tennessee. Tennessee is famous for its whiskey and for its capital, Memphis. Memphis is one of the classic Southern cities. The city is an important place for the development of soul and blues and rock’n'roll. Elvis Presley lived in Memphis, many sizes of rock music began their careers there. As music lovers should not miss out on Beale Street, as the road is considered the home of the blues and birthplace of rock and roll. Memphis is also the studio of Sun Records, where artists like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash or Jerry Lee Lewis were discovered. And of course there is Graceland. Elvis Presley’s mansion is a place of pilgrimage for fans of the musician. Moreover, there is on the Mississippi or the old Delta Queen, a classic paddle steamer, which is still in operation. Pure luxury we can as a guest at Chalet Village in Gatlinburg, or in the beautiful Cook Loft in Knoxville, but also the Berry Springs Lodge Sevierville leaves open no wishes.
