We are less than 90 minute drive from Washington D.C., Annapolis, Gettysburg and the Lancaster County Amish Community. You can make the Super 8 Motel your vacation headquarters and it is always nice to come back home after a day of sightseeing. For our sports minded guests we have a lot to offer. We are located at the gateway to the Chesapeake Bay, and fishing has never been better at the bay. So bring your boat and fishing gear as we have many at the Conowingo Dams (14 mile long lake). Should golf be your game of choice we have many public golf courses in the area, and for our nature lovers we have many hiking trails at our state parks where you can do some bird watching or watch the beavers at work or just enjoy the hike along the local stream.
