Property Description
Whatever the reason that brings you to southern Utah you are sure to enjoy your stay at the Best Western Coral Hills. Accommodating everyone from the single business person or the family on vacation to the conventions or International tour bus the Best Western Coral Hills is the best place to stay while traveling through southern Utah. Our many remodeled rooms (summer of 2003) are the nicest in town! All rooms are meticulously clean and well appointed providing a most relaxing stay. The property is adorned with flowers and dwarf crate-myrtle blooming almost continuously year-round. Palm trees and shrubbery also compliment the grounds and surrounding red cliffs and black lava hills that border St. George City. Located in the St. George Historic District and equidistant to all attractions, shopping, restaurants and golf courses - The Best Western Coral Hills is center to it all. St. George is within easy driving distance to four national parks and numerous state parks and monuments. Located 295 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah and 120 miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada. St. George has long been a favorite stop over for travelers on the Los Angeles, Salt Lake and Denver routes. St. George is known as "Utah's Dixie" because of the beautiful, sunny weather year-round. This nickname comes from the first settlers of the area sent to raise cotton because to the shortages caused by the Civil War. Winter, spring and autumn are especially nice with mild daytime temperatures ranging into the 70's and low 80's.
