The Days Inn Dunmore is conveniently located at Exit 188 of Interstate 81. The four story, 79 room property has all interior corridors. The Inn features single rooms, double rooms, king rooms, and king executive rooms and jacuzzi suites. All rooms feature remote control color televisions, with 56 channels including HBO, ESPN and CNN. Expanded continental breakfast is served in the lobby each day including bagels, english muffins, cereals, juices, and coffee. 24 hour coffee available. Free USA Today. All rooms have inroom safes. The Inn is located adjacent to several restaurants and a shopping center. The Days Inn Dunmore is the newest of three Days Inn hotels in the Scranton area. It is located just outside the Keystone Industrial Park and therefore has a constant flow of corporate business. Each year the Scranton area grows in popularity as a tourist destination. The winter season tourist base is comprised mostly of snow skiers from the New Jersey, Baltimore and Philadelphia regions. During the summer months, tourism is driven by the historical sites in the area. One of the most effective ways we can compete with the three new hotels is providing clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Another effective marketing tool is the complimentary continental breakfast that is served daily. We will be counting on customer loyalty to continue our base business. The hotel pricing will be classified as a low to mid-market range. Our rates will continue to be lower than the full service properties in the area due to their meeting room space, indoor pools and restaurants on property or adjacent.
